Project Overview

A2F Consulting supported the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the design and implementation of Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) interventions across multiple compact and threshold countries. The project aimed to strengthen women’s participation in the workforce, entrepreneurship, and broader economic systems.

Work Developed

• Provided technical support on WEE across multiple countries, covering sectors such as energy, infrastructure, MSME development, and digital finance
• Contributed to the development and review of terms of reference, feasibility studies, and analytical reports
• Supported research, data collection, and gender-focused analysis to inform policy and programme design
• Delivered advisory inputs across key WEE pillars, including workforce participation, entrepreneurship, and enabling environments
• Assisted MCC in integrating gender considerations into compact design and implementation processes

The assignment was implemented over a 5-year period across multiple regions, combining strategic advisory with analytical and technical support. A2F contributed to the design and implementation of WEE-focused interventions, supporting evidence-based decision-making and the integration of gender considerations into MCC investments.
