A2F Consulting supported the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Natural Resources (World Bank-funded) in assessing market potential for economic activities in the Kotu Stream area in The Gambia. The project aimed to identify sustainable livelihood opportunities—particularly for women and youth—while strengthening community resilience to climate impacts.
The assignment was implemented over 5 months and combined analytical work with extensive field engagement. A2F delivered evidence-based recommendations to support sustainable livelihoods and inform program design under the WACA ResIP 2 initiative, with a strong focus on inclusivity and climate resilience.
