Project Overview

A2F Consulting is co-managing a Line of Credit and Partial Credit Guarantee Fund for MSMEs in Haiti on behalf of the Fonds de Développement Industriel (FDI) and the World Bank. The project aims to improve access to finance for MSMEs by strengthening financial instruments, enhancing institutional capacity, and supporting more efficient fund management.‍

Work Developed

• Co-managed the implementation of the Line of Credit (LoC) and Partial Credit Portfolio Guarantee (PCPG) for participating financial institutions
• Conducted due diligence and assessed eligibility criteria for financial institutions and MSME borrowers
• Supported the design and improvement of financial products, including sub-loan structures and guarantee mechanisms
• Strengthened fund management processes, including monitoring, communication strategy, and environmental and social risk management
• Built long-term operational capacity within FDI to ensure sustainable fund management

The assignment is being implemented over 36 months in close collaboration with FDI, combining operational co-management with technical assistance. A2F supports all key stages of fund management, from product design to implementation and monitoring, while enabling institutional strengthening and improved access to finance for MSMEs in Haiti.‍
